It Is Finished

The last words of Jesus were “It is finished.” That would indicate his work here on the corporeal realm of the earth is done. He died for our sins and we are all saved from our sins. Of course the fight against evil is not over. That fight is now up to us while we are here on earth with our spirits coupled to our physical bodies. But we are not alone as the spirit of Jesus caries on to assist us in the fight. We are also assisted by divine angels of various sorts guiding us along in our corporeal journey. But a conclusion that can also be drawn from his last words is that he's not coming back in the corporeal form. That Jesus is not coming back corporeally directly contradicts the foundational premise of Christian Zionism. It is the contention of Christian Zionism that the establishment of the State of Israel is the fulfillment of Biblical prophesy that will lead to Armageddon and the return of Jesus for a second coming. Do the Christian Zionists really expect Jesus to come back and say “never mind abut that 'it is finished' thing I said, I was just kidding”? Do they expect him to come back to reward the perpetration of genocide in Gaza and the killing of tens of thousands of innocent civilians? Are Christian Zionists the ones that are kidding? In what world could anyone support the contention that Jesus supports the wanton death and destruction that Israel is perpetrating on the people of Gaza? All the words of Jesus were always first and foremost of a normative nature; He was telling us how we ought to behave and live to be good and righteous. His words were never first and foremost about fulfilling some alleged Old Testament prophesy. But even if we are to delve into the normative rules of the Old Testament, Israel is violating the Ten Commandments left and right; most notably the commandment not to kill.

Judaism is a beautiful and ancient religion. For thousands of years, Jews faced persecution but resolutely stuck to their principles amid that persecution. But it is as if, in 1948, many in the organized Jewish religion started listening to the Devil whispering in their ear. The Devil was saying to them “you don't have to be the persecuted anymore, you should just take what you want and become the persecutor. You can achieve riches beyond your dreams if you become the victimizer instead of the victimized. All you have to do is engage in a game of trickery; trick some Christians into thinking all your stealing of Palestinian property isn't really stealing. Trick the Christians into thinking the establishment of the State of Israel will bring back their precious Jesus.” Tragically, many Jews strayed from their ancient religion and listened to the Devil and formed the Satanic State of Israel.

Jewish Zionism is a fringe, radical cult sect that never should have been allowed to become recognized as anything remotely orthodox to the Jewish religion. The organized leadership of Judaism should have long ago disavowed and distanced itself from Zionism the same way the organized LDS Church, the Mormons, distanced and disavowed itself from the polygamous sects associated with the LDS Church. Now, when anyone criticizes the polygamous compounds with being inherently abusive and oppressive towards girls and women, no one accuses those critics of being anti-Mormon and potentially stirring up hate crimes against Mormons. That's because the organized Church of LDS wisely disassociated itself from the polygamous cults and thus the masses likewise psychologically disassociated any close connection between polygamy and Mormonism. The only reason there is any problem, insofar as there is any problem, with the association between being Jewish and the murderous rampage against civilians in Gaza and other acts of injustice against Palestinians, is because a majority of the organized leadership of the Jewish religion has decided to associated itself directly with the principle of Zionism.
